Bags and big bags for dry products
Sugar, rice, flour and powders require packaging suited to use. Specify net weight, material, liner, closure, markings and palletisation. Check that the receiver can handle and empty the format without compromising the product.
Liquids: IBCs, drums and flexitanks
Oil packaging depends on quality, volume and handling. Verify container compatibility, food-contact requirements where relevant, carrier acceptance and pumping capacity. Some oils require specific temperature conditions.
Maritime bulk and industrial receipt
Bulk shipments require assessment of ports and loading/unloading facilities. Agree sampling, weighing and tolerances to establish a clear contractual basis. Volumes and equipment depend on the route and offer.
Frozen products and refrigerated containers
Chicken, beef and frozen pulp need a product-specific cold chain. Confirm prescribed temperature, recording, packaging, airflow and receiving facilities. Anticipate sanitary requirements in the importing market.
Calculate loading from actual data
Separate net product weight, gross packed weight, volume and permitted payload. Bag or carton counts depend on loading plan, pallets, container and road limits. Request a validated plan rather than deriving tonnage from theoretical capacity.
